Remove rookie filter

Just went into my server browser and saw how many full rookie servers there really are, it's probably separating some of the playerbase

I think it'd be best to leave new players with the rookie green status, but disable rookie as a filter for servers. If a server wants to be rookie friendly they can leave it in the server title; but there's just too many players split apart by this filter

Agreed. Though as I see it, there's essentially no difference between rookie friendly servers and non-rookie friendly servers.

besides that there's tons of full rookie servers that probably a good amount of us don't even know about

    Eh...

    against this.

I don't want to play with someone randomly hopping in the chair and getting screamed at. Also you can thrust more your teamates to do something when you're playing on a regular server. Noob actions are less easy to predict (as teamate I mean).

But I agree that a somewhat better "noob-learning" tool could be made.

Also, when playing on a rookie server when I started, I didn't get mad when people were doing mistakes; and it was more a best learning environment. Players playing on them are somewhat agreeing that people don't know how to play (generally speaking); versus non-rookie friendly.

Playing to have a "functional" team, and playing to learn are different things (and I expect QQ on this phrase). I used to play in rookie server to try commanding; but not when playing as a "regular".

rookies tend to join anywhere so it makes no difference, if anything make the rookie green status on players last longer

All the filter really does is separate the small playerbase into something smaller
