Missing required mod

Half the servers I attempt to join yield this error message. Is this a product of the patch? Is there something I can do to fix this?

    It should also tell you which mod id in the console.
    Can you take a screenshot (f12 key) of the console (~ key) when this happens?

    Also, have you tried the typical method of unsubscribing from all mods from the main menu?
    And then if that doesnt work, deleting your Workshop folder thats found in your hidden %appdata%\Natural selection 2\ folder.
