Friend's fiancee died, she needs to sell his games. How?

Hi: I was helping my friend clean & straighten up her late fiancee's computer, he has Steam on it and maybe thirty disk games, some of which at least are probably played via Steam, others might be X-box, if that matters. How would she get ahold of his Steam password and find out which games? Or, does STEAM care if games on a Steam account need to go to someone else? How is that done? Anyway she could really use the money, and was wondering if it mattered behind the scenes. I really don't know this, i'd probably be on the forums askin' how if I wanted to sell MY games (keys, really), so there ya go. Thanks.

Valve's Steam Subscriber Agreement explicitly forbids this:

"You may not sell or charge others for the right to use your Account, or otherwise transfer your Account, nor may you sell, charge others for the right to use, or transfer any Subscriptions other than if and as expressly permitted by this Agreement (including any Subscription Terms or Rules of Use)."
