    I think it would be nice to add a button to escape if all infantry portals go down. Something like the marine panicking and breaking the exo to get out. So after a short delay the marine would be moved outside the exo a bit above the ground( to avoid stucking in the map) with only a welder and the exo would slowly take damage until it is gone. Nobody would use it, but the option it would make people feel a lot more confortable.

    The inability to get out balances the exos. This is to prevent an entire team from going exo since they are slow and cannot be beaconed.

    Yeah, being able to get out of an exo would be so unbalanced...

    How so? I think being stuck in an exo while your team slowly loses because you can't rebuild a simple power node is absurd. Highest marine life form can't do the most basic marine operations? Derrrp
    I get that you have fears of being able to self weld, etc but really if the eject process took 3 seconds and the 'get back in exo' animation took 3 seconds it really would make a lone exo insane to try to exit and weld during battle. Thats 6 seconds of down time plus the time to weld.. there is no chance he would survive that if a skulk or two rushed in.

    I'm not sure if you noticed, but in the recent patch an exo is really not that tough anymore. It still has high DPS but its armor is very weak now. And the exo would still abide by all the same rules of being slow, no beacon, etc .. just because you can exit in an emergency does not suddenly make the exo OP. How would it? Give me a scenario where being able to exit an exo suit would cause an imbalance?

    That's the point though, it's a trade off and a risk. You want super high damage? Well it's gonna cost you your utility.

    Then you would also support fades & onos not being able to jump in the Kham chair or go through gorge tunnels?
