Combat Mode - Always crashes

Hi Guys
Have been playing the game in normal NS2 mode for about a year and it's been stable. In CO mode / Combat Mode modded servers, I find the game crashes every time I play. Sometimes its only a few minutes, others longer but it always does in the end. I have to Ctrl Alt Del and use task manager to close the game. Sometimes it asks me if I want to submit a crash report or something, othertimes it doesn't. This ONLY HAPPENS IN CO MODE!
System as follows:
Windows 7 64
Core 2 Duo E8600 @ 4.00 ghz
4Gb 1066 Ram
Radeon HD3870x2 and HD3870 running together in Crossfire
I don't think it's a hardware problem however as the game is stable in NS / Normal mode.
Any ideas?

Perhaps your pc doesnt like something in combat?
I think somethings up with the mod, or with steam workshop.
Either way, improvements to the modding infrastructure within NS2 are coming in the next patch very soon.
