The ability to buy a 2nd dual-wield pistol from armory.
Being able to pick up the 2nd pistol off a dead guy only if they bought the 2nd pistol.

I think this would be so cool and also give some extra power to pistoling in the end-game. Pistols now just aren't that viable in end game.

With how fast some people can shoot the pistol as is, this would end up more powerfull than the shotgun.
