Team Resource Rate = Increased Passive Amount + Amount from RTs

I've noticed many NS2 game quickly snowball and that come backs are uncommon. What if the team resource rate was composed of an increased fixed variable and then the resoures accumulated from built resource extractors. I think this would lead to more even games.

Wait so this would make it so killing RT's was less useful? Meaning losing a RT doesnt hurt your team resource rate as much as it does now? I dont like that, i think killing RT's should be very important, if anything more important than it is now. I have the experience of feeling like we have killed off lots of RT's on the enemy team but they still somehow can put down lots of structures/pres stuff like exos. Havent they reduced armor/ hp of RT's anyhow? they certainly seem to die faster so im not for making rt killing less useful than it currently is. Should be a very important tactic and now its not (generally) something you focus on but more something you do if you happen to come across one. This is speaking from public server aspects, i havent/dont play competitive organized games.

I think you may just need to find a more stable server, on the one I play on every night there are epic comebacks. I've had hour long games that went back and forth between Hive and Chair kills, circling the map changing over all tech points. Having a comeback from 1 Chair when the Aliens have 3 hives, proper teamwork is the best way to to play NS2.
