Multiple config files for different needs?

As far as I know it's not possible to load custom config files from console in-game currently so I would like that kind of feature implemented because I use different bindings on some aliens than what I use on marines and it's frustrating to go through the menu to change those buttons every time. Or make it autoload config based on the role you are playing. If you go fade the game automagically loads fade.cfg for example.
