28 Days Later - Practically a classic for me, with hands down my favorite kind of zombies.
28 Weeks Later - More action-y and less relatable characters, but still a blast.
Kickass - Defy's all ns2 logic of Dual miniguns simultaneously used with jetpacks.

    I thought Inception was junk.
Don't miss out on Solaris (Book on which the Films are based on) and the original film from 1972 (which, of course, surpassed the remake by miles :)

There are sooo many good ones, so I try to keep it short:

    - Triangle (if you like movies that invoke extential angst but don't feed on the fear of bloody chain saws, this is it)
    - Irreversible (one of the most brutal films I've ever seen)
    - Mulholland Drive (don't try to make sense of it and you'll hugely enjoy it)
    - A Clockwork Orange (my favorite: funny, subtle, brutal, scary and beautiful)

Inception is an interesting film that had too many ideas crammed into a short 2-hour show.

I mean, the whole point of the film was to implement an idea into the man's mind (Inception), so I expected a nice long show going over every aspect of this man's life and slowly implementing a specific idea throughout the entire trip.

Instead I got a schizophrenic action movie where the finale was a Call of Duty level and the "Inception" part was 5 seconds of putting a picture inside of a safe. :(

Well first of all, don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not in bed with Inception by any means. It had a concept for what could've become something interesting, but was spoiled in ways by the generic (bland) action, uninteresting (unconvincing) characters, and more than a few terrible plot consistencies. But despite all this, I still like the film when I can turn my brain off. I admit listing it as one of my "all time favorites" was kind of stupid and this is not _really_ the case.

But anyway, here's a few more films which I consider as pure gold (IMO), in no particular order. Watch them.

    - Se7en (1995)
    - Ghostbusters (1984)
    - Twelve Monkeys (1995)
    - They Live (1988)
    - The Shining (1980)
    - Pulp Fiction (1994)
    - Videodrome (1983)
    - Scarface (1983)
    - Citizen Kane (1941)
    - The Thing (1982)
    - Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)
    - Star Wars (1977)
    - Apocalypse Now (1979)
    /edit - Moon (2009)
