Mic lag issue

I'm not entirely sure this is a problem with NS2 or a problem on my end. But whenever I join a server, Ive tried this on many, my teammate's voice chat always breaks up. Its just barley comprehensible and it makes game play and team communication very annoying. My connection on these servers is always somewhat strong, usually between 30-80 ping and I get no other form of lag. Its not the servers fault either as Ive asked and no one else on the servers seem to have the problem. I also don't get this problem on any other game and have no clue what it could be.
