Gotta love their name :D Had some good games on the TW and T servers, I might catch this on download sometime - thanks for casting!

Really wish you could tickle some more graphical fidelity out of the game, though. I am aware that the simplified NSL maps are probably to blame in part for that (if some of them are actually NSL maps, otherwise I probably imagine more details and better lighting to be there than there actually is :>), but the blurry textures, minimal infestation and lack of shadows don't help with the remaining immersion either.

Is it because streaming takes so much processing power? Or because you have an older system? To get the highest amount of possible fps regardless? Or simply to utilize settings with the least visual clutter that is probably used by the players too?

EDIT: Hmm, the latest videos seem to be a bit better in that regard already. The ones played on Veil for instance seem much better than those on Summit a few days ago.

Heya! Yeah, most of the settings aren't maxxed due to performance and keeping the frames up during the casts. Your last point of reducing clutter is a reason too. We've had feedback to turn infestation down all the way as it messes with people being able to see well in overview mode. It also makes it faster for me to alt-tab and re-tab back and forth. Running two monitors during casts but still sometimes need to access stuff on the 2nd monitor.

My system is on the older side as well, but that should be rectified soon as I usually upgrade a new system every 1.5 - 2 years and I'm coming up to that. So I'll be getting an updated PC soon which should improve the quality of the casts.

    Thanks! :)

One thing I noticed in those plays on Jambi is that no alien team seems to realize that you can actually put cysts into that "vent" (at least it is marked as that on the minimap) that leads from Organ Donation to Electrical Core, instead of cysting all the way around through Organ Donation itself.
I actually consider Electrical Core more of a natural second Hive location and primary RT to the aliens than expanding all the way to Waste Recycling.

Or would that already be considered exploiting in comp matches, since being able to cyst into a location marked as vent on the map may seem like something the map creator forgot about?

The NSL maps look the same as the default ones from spectator view as part of the spawns mod. It loads the original lighting when you join spectator mode.
