weird problem with mods

I've been getting this weird problem with my mods. Sometimes when I start NS2, I try to join a server but it sits on downloading mods forever. I disconnect through console, look at my mods and sure enough, it says that I'm not subscribed to any mods although they are still active and I know I am subscribed to them. Usually this corrects itself if I restart the game, but this time it isn't. Any clue as to what's going on here?

I had that happen to me the other day. First thing I recommend to try is simply restarting your computer, that actually is what fixed the problem of mods not downloading or properly subscribing for me. Failing that, try deleting the data folder where mods are stored (users\<username>\appdata\roaming\naturalselection 2\workshop, it might be beneficial to delete the whole roaming\natural selection 2 folder, although that means losing your settings and favorites), and THEN restart. Deleting the folder will get rid of any mods you have but aren't subscribed to and fully re-download any subscribed mods therefor fixing any potential problems with a corrupt mod.
