About demos

Posting a new thread because no one replies in the sticky, after a bit of testing with them I have three issues with how they work at the moment and I'm looking for ways to fix them, especially #3:
1. The Time Sync toggle does NOT work with space bar.
2. Sometimes when the person in the demo is crouching they start bobbing up and down in the ground really fast until they stand up again.
3. The demo only plays back at 1x speed if it is played with a pc that replicates the EXACT same FPS as the one that recorded it. So if people with slower pc's view a demo from a faster pc, everything seems to go in slow motion as it has to get through more frames than it can in a second. The opposite is also true and playback is extremely fast on good pc's seeing bad pc demos.

Now this wouldn't be the end of the world, not seeing other peoples demos, but I wish to record a game I demo'd with Bandicam (tried Fraps no different), the problem is, as soon as I start the recording, the fps tanks from 100-120 to 60-80, which because of the reasons I stated above results in slow playback and a terrible recording. I guess in theory I could speed up the end result, but the recording process takes twice as long and I doubt the rate of playback is a consistent slowdown so I can't really "double" the speed or anything.

I've tried the 'record a demo, screencapture its playback' with speeding up the result and it turns out very poorly. Specifically, the slowdown effect from lower fps isn't consistent, such that there is no constant speed up factor you can use to get it to play at realtime speeds (e.g. you'll still have sections that either go faster or slower in the final result). Also, the audio starts to cut in and out when trying to speed up a screencaptured demo playback.

Right now, your only option for functional NS2 video recording is some type of screencapture or streaming program (e.g. Fraps, Dxtory, MSI Afterburner, OBS, etc).

Sadly I know that NOW but I can't really replay the game I already played.
