why you cannot bind these through the options menu, or why they arent default binds makes zero sense to me. Completely unintuitive to have to bind a key through console for this. Just add these 2 to the the controls menu under options to give players a non console interface to bind these key. Seems half assed to put them in then only make them accessible through binds instead of the options menu.
Also F1 and F2 (and F3 for random which doesn't seem to be an option) are so natural that pretty much everyone who ever binds j1 and j2 uses those keys, so it would make sense for them to be default controls.
Whats best is when you accidentally bind esc key, and then cant open menu.
Your bindings are saved in the file "%APPDATA%\Natural Selection 2\ConsoleBindings.json"
You can delete this file to erase every key binding you have, or you can try edit the file with a text editor, to delete only the binding you don't want anymore.

You can now just hold L and it will spam jointeam(one or two) over and over and over.
you can hold down the key as you load the map and the frame you get within the game, it'll put you on the team.
