Shade abilities

So common practice now is that you get either Crag / Shift or Shift / Crag as your first and second hives. Shade is almost always put off to 3rd hive because Camo is broken right now and Silence just doesn't have the punch that Carapace and Celerity do.
If you want to keep Camo in it's current form where you're only cloaked when completely still, then I would say to combine it with Silence. While you move, you're completely visible and silent, but when you've stopped, you quickly go into a cloaked state. Remove the partial invisibility while moving. It's completely useless with folks using neon alien skins, the moment you move you shine like a beacon.
Then add in a new Shade ability to replace Camo. Either Focus or something else you guys have toying in the back of your minds.
Bring back the Shade as a viable first or second hive option!

Was a total waste...oh sure you could evolve-devolve-re-evolve for no cost...but you had to stay alive.
Which rendered it pretty useless and totally gimmicky (not surprised it was used for exploiting more than its intended feature).
Hyper-mutation could be made to work but it would need to be able to carry over between 2 lives and instead of making it free...perhaps allow 1/2 or 3/4 cost evolve back (reset if you die without having the upgrade selected and only valid for the previous life form you evolved to).
Focus or some other way to negate the armour upgrades of marines is needed.
Camo need to simply be reverted back to what it was....I would love UWE to tell us what % the shade hive made up pre 100% camo...during 100% camo...and post 240.
Then tell us how often aliens won those games.
I would hazard a guess it had a brief stint of being popular (when it offered 100%) but has again been relegated to last upgrade (or a lost game).
How would feign death work? Bodies disappear within a couple of seconds. Sometimes I even shot aliens that have just been killed when I come around a corner and see them. Don't think I would ever see an alien body and not shoot lol.
It worked by when the alien died, his body would ragdoll like usual, but he would 100% cloak and move at like 25% speed for 3ish seconds. They would also have something like 100 health/50 armor again. Not sure on the exact numbers but it was a very small amount. Gave them enough time to get around a corner or out of sight and if the marine wasn't watching the kill feed (the kill didn't show there because it wasn't really a kill), they would think they had killed the alien and just gone off on their merry way. The alien could then attack the marine again or run off.
TBH, I really liked it. It was super useful for protecting your expensive life-forms. And this was before SG became the OP, mass-murdering weapon that it is today... Not really sure why they removed it, can't remember if they said why.
Then for the second upgrade have it modify alien vision in 2 ways:
1. It shows the health (not inc armour) of marines you can see, so you can pick your victims better. You can blame it on smell if you want, that's why armour doesn't matter: To a hungry skulk a corpse smells the same as a corpse in armour. (<--I thought about trying to put the health bar you see when attacking structures on to marines, but couldn't figure out which part of the lua was responsible for that )
2. It has those peripheral dot things that Arma 2 had. [explained here (skip to about 40ish secs) youtube.com/watch?v=BDjD89xBfhw]. This give slightly more situation awareness, you can tell if people are running up at the side of you, and if a marine was all bunny hopping around it would enable you to follow his movements better, that sort of thing.
I thought maybe, very, very *maybe* that it shows the outline of any marine in LOS of one of your team mates/drifters (You know, like a hive-mind oughta ;P).
