Like the title states i would suggest some change in order to get a better hit feedback.
I play a lot as a marine, and many times i have the feeling i get killed instantly. Offcourse it isn't but the game doesn't give me the feedback i like when being hit.
Skulks are the most obvious, you hear a nice chomp when it (not allways since there is a lot going on).
But i like something of a 'screenflash', a soft red layer the instant you get hit. And / or a bit of 'screenshake', a little tremor wich states you are being hit.
Most of the time i get killed by a Fade i only hear the swipe of the arm. In this instance it would be a nice indicator if your marines groans or screens in agony.
As for the Onos the feedback should be the most intense, heavy screenshake with the sound of pain and a hit sound. (maybe toss you a few feet/ 1 meter, but that's probably a bit too much)
PS. Speaking of the Onos i think the attack animations could be a bit more agressive. If you want to know what i mean, look up a charging rhino on youtube and you'll get the idea.
