Cant Dl It

<div class="IPBDescription">mirrors .exe seems incomplete</div> Ok I have been convinced to dl this mod.
But.
when the dl finishes it says it was expecting a certain file size and the 1 it gets is a few thousand bytes short of that so says it cant open it, i have tried 4 different mirrors of this site all of which are exactly the same and at a fresh 90 mb dl each time this took quite a while.
So does anyone have a mirror to the full version of this as i only can find this sites page full of non working .exe`s <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Maybe you got a patch aswell?? I doubt your that dumb...

    If you want ns so much you could format your computer, otherwise you can just wait here for some help from people with more knowledge then me.

    Try restarting and then wipeing the internet cache and thenm trying again this might solve your problem, if it doesnt try getting on of those download programes like real download ect.

    ok how do i reset the cache? and will resetting the cache suddenly make the .exe a complete file rather than a incomplete file?

    A dl prog manager wont help, i,m on broadband as it is even if i could split the dl it would still be a incomplete file
    just a incomplete file that i got in sections, or have i misunderstood what you ment?

    And does no one from NS team actually read this forum?

    Thalamus, there are hundreds or thousands of posts a day on this forums. Give me a damned break that I don't instantly come running for someone who does not know how to download files...

    The problem is not with our mirrors or NS, it is with your PC or your ISP. I suggest you start by contacting your ISP and explaining to them that when you download large files, they come up corrupt. They may or may not give you some suggestions, or run a line check for you. I can say that it is 99% likely to be your PC's NIC giving out.

    I downloaded the mod two times. The 1st time i had the same problem as yours. THe second time all was OK.

    I do know how to download files, and your condicending attitude was not needed, boy ( not nice is it?)
    and since a 90 mb dl is small compared to alot of the updates for cs ect i dl no it isnt a big dl.

    Thank you Firestorm you were twice as helpfull as MonsieurEvil and came across alot more mature too.

    As it goes in the end what worked in the end was deleteing the .exe that was incomplete clearing out all my cookies for some reason, then it dl fine <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    And apart from being a really buggy game (kept getting stuck on apparently flat pieces of ground?)
    and everyone moaning at the commander and calling him a noob dispite when i suggested perhaps they should try and command instead of whineing constanly (which since they were american sounds VERY whiney and hugely annoying) they didnt want to, supprisingly enough.
    So alot of child like players who always whinge and dont want to actually help anyone
    Far too many people calling other people noobs which i really really hate as if they never had to learn, oh no they were born being able to play ns obviously, prats.
    So with no help whatsoever and everyone moaning constantly i thought **obscenity** it ill try be the commander then
    which wasnt to bad as it goes.
    I think the idea for the game is top notch, the commanders console and the way you interact with your team through it is truely original and i for one cant wait till all these bugs are sorted out.
    I think this game has the posabilty to become a VERY good mod.
    It will never be as big as CS because it requires true team work and the ability to follow instruction not many players are capable of that i,m affraid.
    It is certainly the most involving and original half life mod i have ever seen and i shall follow it with baited breath
    and enthusiasm.
