What in the hell is with the first load time? I get 2-3 mins but have heard some people get over 5 mins. I just got Crysis 3 and can load the whole game in under 20 secs.

    it's a compiling 1st load...after that, the game will load much faster.

    Took me 10 minutes, but yea fortunately its only the first time. I'm much more worried about the terrible performance.

    Every new build = First time you have to compile all the shaders (which can take somewhere between a few to 10+ min)
    Every time you start up NS2 = First match you have to precache a bunch of files (which can take between a few secs to a few min)

    However, everything should load much faster after the first game you play on a new patch.
