Since 240 I have had v sync set to off in nvidia control panel and in game disabled. Fullscreen has no issues but it is active in Fullscreen windowed no matter what settings I choose. Anyone else have this issue?
I have fixed this issue for the next patch. This was a bug that was introduced with an 11th hour change to address an issue that caused the game to not render if you enabled triple buffering in fullscreen windowed mode. We slipped this in because we have had a number of reports from people who got their game into a bad state and then didn't know how to undo it because the options screen didn't render. Until we release a patch, you can work around this by playing in windowed or fullscreen mode.

When is the next patch, and couldn't you have just forced a vsync setting default after the patch? That way people could have changed back...
windowed fullscreen dosent work right at all, i cant use it, it kinda stutters and lags, even at 200fps,
but maybe that vsync stuff is the reason for it...
I have found a work around, set the game to windowed mode, close and reopen the game, then change it back to borderless. The game only forces vsync if the game STARTS in borderless mode.
So, easiest way, before closing the game after you play, change to windowed, then when you play again, go borderless, and repeat.

Thanks! Hopefully it will just be hotfixed, but until then this helps a lot.
Here's a better workaround that does not involve restarting the game:
- Put the game in Windowed mode with VSync enabled; apply
- Still in Windowed mode, set VSync to disabled; apply
- Put it back into Windowed Fullscreen mode with VSync disabled; apply

its not truly vsync. It just maxes at 60fps.
I mean, I also always play in windowed, and I see it dip to 50, sometimes 40ish values.
if it was truly vsync, it would go from 60 to 30.

Unless its adaptive?
It's an average. Don't expect to see exactly 30, 20, 15 and so on because of that. What happens there when you have ~50 fps is that some frames take 1/60th of a second to render and some take 1/30th of a second to render, and they average to what you see.

@strikerX3
I know, but basicly I should neve see 45fps with vsync unless its adaptive. it should be a lot closer to 30 or 60, as far as I know.
Then again, I try to avoid vsync

So I'm hoping for tomorrow.

So either way that bug was not optimal :-P
