Missing ns2.exe due to anitvirus detecting it as malware.

I was getting ready to play NS2 since I haven't played it in a while. When I launch the game, it stops at a black screen and AVG pops up saying it has detected ns2.exe as malware. I go to restore the executable and I am now unable to launch the game without a trace of the .exe file on my computer (did a full search and yielded no results). Could anyone provide a .exe file so I can add it back to my game directory?

If you check the integrity of the game cache files, it will re-download it for you. IDK why AVG would be detecting it as maleware other than the file was corrupted somehow and it didn't like what it saw. If for some reason it picks at it again after the file re-establishes itself, then you are just going to have to set an exception for the file in AVG. While you're at it, double check to make sure AVG is updated.

a solution for future problems you may have would be to get a better antivirus, AVG used to be decent but has fallen from grace recently. A few better suggestions include Comodo, MSE, Eset
