Major FPS drop since 238, not fixed with 239

I'm just curious if I am alone in my experience here. Since build 238 (when it started showing how the phase gates were linked) I have experienced massive frame rate drop spikes. I'll start out with 60 FPS then it will drop to around 15 as I am randomly running around the map. I also get the same problem when I am playing the commander, except that it starts to happen as I move my view around the map. I've tried turning down settings: resolution, AO, Shadows, buffering.... and I've re-installed the game.. each of which gives me a modest FPS increase initially, however it still drops as I start running around the map. Making it very difficult for me to play a marine or marine commander which are my favorite roles. I've been playing since the game came out around November, and only with these most recent patches has it really made the game unplayable for me. I've included my computer specs, and would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I feel I experienced peak performance around patches 235/236.
