Ambience - audial and visual improvements to enhance the game experiance

Most of the ideas that I'm about to suggest are minor things that concern the visual and audial aspect of the game.
These features, if added, could potentially improve the games immersion by giving the player more information about his/hers surroundings.
Damage indication sound effects.
Some sort of a sound effect to indicate a bullet hit or a bite hit would be a great way to get more immersion to the game. For example, when lerks spikes hit the exo-suits armor one would expect to hear a metallic impact sound that that indicates the hit. I have not noticed anything like this and I it a bit frustrating that there isn't a way to hear if your exo is being hit.
The same thing could easily be applied to the kharaa. For example, when a skulk is hit is just seems to give out a scream of pain. This is sufficient to let the alien player know that they are being hit, but it would still be really cool to hear the sound that comes from bullet hitting and sinking into the flesh or bone-plate of the alien.
Bullet ricochet
This would be especially sweet to hear when fighting in a narrow corridors. It would give the marine and kharaa player more of a feeling of actually being there, which is always a good thing. It could also make it really cacophonic when multiple marines are shooting in confined spaces, which might be a great or a horrible thing (personal preferences I suppose).
Marine UI
Since marines are wearing the high-tech helmet with visor, it would be great if the helmet could relay more relevant information about the player and their teammates. It could, for example give the player information about the team they have been assigned to. This information could consist of the teams number, team-members names, their health and possibly even their weapon and ammo status. This could make teamwork seem more natural and easy, as most of the information is clearly visible in every marines UI.
Also, the helmet/visor of the marines could be visually more pronounced (as mentioned by PetriFemboy in the "IT'S BEEN DONE BETTER IN..."-thread). This would be a sort of a counterpart to the aliens distinct UI, which really tells the player that they are playing as a different lifeform.
All critique/comments are welcomed!
