Dynamic Environments:
Use a flamethrower to clear the spreading alien infestation (NOPE). Aliens destroy power nodes knock out the lights (for 5 seconds) and power down marine structures. Random start locations mean you must scout your enemy and before committing to a build (it takes 1 second to know where the enemy is using the many flaws of this game). Every game is different (if you try to do something different as a comm you will be ejected).

Cysts were added to the game later; cysts generate infestation, flamethrower kills cysts with ease from afterburn
Emergency lights turn on like you would see in any modern building with a large occupancy
3 & 4 both sound like "rules" added to the game by players after the fact and don't need further discussion

Only thing i feel they need more of for environments is interaction. If weld points, elevators, door locks, or buttons to turn on the many machines (active crusher in Mineshaft for instance), would add a lot of depth to the maps, even without the Dynamic Infestation from the orignal demo video
