Coming back from 5 cysts

So I had what was probably the most interesting game of NS2 I've played and thought I'd share.
The map is docking, alien start is Generator and marines are (of course) Terminal.
I'm on the alien side. The game is 22 players, 11 on each side.
We move out as kamm cysts and I think everything is going as normal, when I notice about 5 minutes into the game we're at 51 tres. I check the map and see that the kamm has put down 5 cysts to Stability res and has since done nothing.
Welp, gg.
I let everyone know and the marine team just tells us to eject.
We do that but at this point it seems rather pointless, half the alien team had F4'd and we're 5 mins into the game up just 5 cysts.
I ask the team if we should just concede and start over, some agree, but it hasn't quite been long enough to be able to concede.
Oh well, I jump into the hive and begin expanding as best I can, but marines are already in maint and stability. The alien team has some solid players though, and as the marines push into Gen the team fights them off, giving me some time to cyst out and build.
An enterprising player clears out the res and power in Departures and the team continues to harass and kill marines.
Res and cysts continue to get attacked, but I do my best to keep things going. As tres builds I decide to go crag hive thinking we're going to get rushed soon anyway, maybe cara might keep people alive long enough to get a kill.
Amazingly, marines never push into the hive, I assume the skulks are doing a good job and wait for res to build enough to drop the hive at Departures, then jump out and head over to gorge it. I let people know that's why I jumped out, build some hydras and a clog wall then get to holding right-click on the hive.
Gen hive gets attacked, but it's only 2-3 marines and they're easily held off.
Hive finishes building and I try to jump in to find someone else commanding. I ask if he wanted to continue to which he gives a vague answer. I take that as a yes and head back to Gen to heal the hive back up.
I spend the next few mins sliding between res towers keeping them healed.
As we get celerity, marines start showing up with jp+shotgun.
I think, finally, gg.
But one of our guys had built enough res for a fade, and he happened to be a damn good one.
We manage to hold on and the game continues like that for a while.
At around the 20 min mark, I die as gorge and decide to harass.
I go bar and take that down then head to cafe. For some reason the marine team had decided to build sentries in their bases rather than just rushing our hive, but I manage to munch a pg down and force a beacon.
I escape to bar and eat a face full of shotgun by the marine who had gone to rebuild the res.
Checking the map, we had somehow cleared Maint+Ball and were poking into Locker. We also had cleared out East Wing.
I head over to East and a attack force materialises from both Courtyard and Departures.
A force of 3 skulks, 1 fade and me (gorge again) push into Terminal, and as the rest kill marines I manage to bile the power.
Wow I think, can we actually do this?
We clear out Terminal and I check to see if the rest of the team managed to push Lockers while marines were without upgrades.
I see some guys in Lockers, but I also see 2 exos, probably dual. Oh well, at least we got Terminal.
That's when 2 dual exos and 2 jps enter Terminal.
We continue to fight over Terminal over the next 10 minutes or so, at one point getting pushed almost to East Wing res. Something in the region of 5 dual exos and 3 onos die over this time.
However, we eventually take and hold Terminal for good.
As half the team continue to harass Lockers, the Terminal team head to cafe.
I go onos and we still have a fade. We manage to take down a pg before having to retreat from a beacon.
This gives the Lockers team some quality time with the marine's (new) main base and though marines defend Lockers, as they recover we hit cafe again and manage to destroy both pg and obs.
Cafe is now ours.
Perhaps from the sense of relief that we're somehow going to win this game, the kamm doesn't expand into cafe or set up a forward base delaying the final push.
The marines still had 2 dual exos in Locker so I didn't want to push until we had the right support, so I find something else to do.
The next 5 minutes are a bit of a daze as I was occupied jumping on a marine, then letting him jump on me, all over half the map, from Courtyard to Gen then down to Departures before another alien kills him.
The kamm had finally decided to expand and we now have a hive going up in cafe and a forward base in ball court.
I run on over from Departures, my playmate gone, and head to Ball. There I see a marine and horn him once before realising he's my playmate. I leave him alone and head on into Lockers where another onos had already worked the CC down to 20%. I help him finish it off and we win the game.
The comeback from 5 cysts.
Thank you for reading.
Addendum: I forgot to check the time, but it was probably 40-50 mins total.
Addendum2: After half the alien team F4'd, we actually got back up to full player count pretty quickly, I don't know if they were the same people or new ones.

On a less trollish note, sounds like it was a fun game at least. It's always fun when these kind of comebacks happen.
Sounds more like a case of terribad marines.
You can give marines w3 and a3 at the start of the game, they'll still lose. Why? They need their hand held.
The teams were in fact relatively balanced. Aliens may have had a slightly better team on average.
Both teams had some greens, some 'average' players and a few with several hundred hours played.
If the marines were just really bad, it wouldn't have taken so long to turn it around.
However, it looked like the new/average players on marines were reluctant to push out, while new/average alien players seemed happy to be aggressive and die, so we never really saw a very strong push from marines (at most it was 5-6 marines).
