Newest Build mic binding bug

I appear to be having a problem with mic binding in the newest build. Although it will show that I am talking, no one can hear my mic.

However, if I unbind / rebind the mic hotkey, the mic then begins transmitting audio. This happened about 1 out of every 3 launches / games or so and has happened to other players I know.

    i have same problems with USB mics (webcam)
    i have to be in game, and unplug/replug to get my mic to work

    I'm using a plantronics 780 gaming headset that uses USB. It is set as the default device. I ALSO have a vx-3000 (I think) webcam plugged in and it's set as the default Communication device. This makes my mic and headset in the 780 primary in all games, os, etc. However even if it's due to having a secondary device plugged in, people can't hear through my webcam mic either.

    Again, unbinding and rebinding the mic hotkey in the latest build fixes this. This was not a problem in the last build.

    As a side note, I sometimes alt-tab out if I'm talking and trying to look at the scoreboard. 1 out of 5 times this will cause an engine crash. It's too random to reproduce or predict why. It's been a problem in all builds so far.
