if you had to camp...
I would put my bed on the far end of rotating doors hall just outside the marine spawn.

One of the small cubbies in the engine room. Only one way in or out.

I'd hide in a submarine in the waterfilled tunnels under feedwater. Noone ever goes down there. Right?

In the CC, its reasonably safe there, and the leather chair looks real comfortable!

Point is not that someone's after you. You just happen to be placed on bast, without knowing anything of aliens and marines. And you get sleepy so where you choose to sleep over.

    Heh, just the aliens

Upper ledge in Atmospheric Processing, in the silo.

Edit: Bleedin hell, why didn't you say so?

In that case, in the refinery. Nice and warm

Yes thats what I exactly thought of first, but then it came to my mind how bad it is smelling there. Afterall it's a refinery.

I'd sleep in Atmospheric Processing (THat is the right map, right?) on the edge of the giant thing that takes in liquid.

    Hm. No aliens, you say?

I guess I'd set up shop on the upper level of the refinery. Heat and toasted marshmallows for all!

    Inside a hive, definitely.

It is all warm, wet, and velvety inside.

Away from Mr. Bean and his happy mine surprises. Definitely away from those.

    What a funny topic.

I think I'd sleep underneath the pipes at the furnace outside feedwater. Kinda like an open fireplace.

I would probably camp out on one of the high catwalks above the refinery and toss down water balloons at you happy campers down below .

In the cockpit chairs, up above the refinery. You know, the ones that make you think of the Nostromo from Aliens. Nice plush chairs to snuggle down in and nice 'n' quite too.

    What a weird topic

I think i would just sleep in Marine start place because it feels secured (elevator, and revolving door...) and it has nice lightings

Engine room cubby hole. Y'know, the one that doesn't lead anywhere at the far end of the hive room. Why is that there anyways? Oh well <zzzzz> <bacterium...zzzzzz>

    In the barracks, of course!
It's likely behind one of those non-functioning doors, but if the aliens/marines were not there, they would be working.

Other than that, I'd say in the marine start, most likely where the CC is.

But mine Suprises are the spice of life!

On second I think in a CC tucked away in the Generator Room with that nice thrum on Eclipse, probably sounds like the Beach if you listen right

The refinery, hands down. (smelly or no!)

The place is HUGE and the aliens got to get that huge chunk of map space as their possible hives.

There are so many dark and high places to snuggle in....

every one know that space ABOVE the refinery (the one with the ladder with the door ontop of it)
yah right down that ladder, in the place with the the node and where you can look out over the entrance to refinery, yah nice, dark, and small (I liek the dark)

lol, kudos to the one who came up with this ;D

You know the floor at the bottom of the elevator shaft below the marine spawn?
I'd get ready for the night in one of those cubholes (or whatever they are) in the floor, but I'd be laying awake, LMG over my chest.

I would spend the whole night in fedwater hive, with the upper half of the body out of the water, just to breath...... Gotta love loving inside of the water =)

I would sleep in the airvent by the marine spawn, the one where the lift goes down and theres a hole in the wall.

(If you don't understand this paragraph, ignore it.)
What does LLWK stand for? And being bait isn't that fun. (You can tell I was bored.)

I think I'd have to settle for the nice spot in the cockpit, the chairs must be good for snoozing in.

I would stay awake and just play around with the big doors

I would sleep in the broken airlock on the other side of the entrance to engine cooridor. Assuming I was trying to hide while I slept. If I had a jetpack I would sleep waaay up on one of the little perches above the furnace in the refinery.

Hm this topic brings up something. have you ever played HL or any other game with mines and get tired and want to go to sleep but left the game running while you slept. (in single player) In HL when I was really tired I would pretend that I had to find a good place to sleep in game and would make an unpenetrable fortress of mines around gordon freeman so that when I wake up in the morning I can move on with my game without thinking that aliens will get me. With cheats enabled I also made 30 barneys securing my sleeping place and a few doctors, just in case. I hope I'm not the only one to have ever done that.

I don't know where I would sleep in NS for there is no safe location I am the opposite of claustrophobic and like to be alone in very small places no bigger than enough room to move around. I'm a starnge little human.
