In-Game Matchmaking System

I was wondering if UWE was considering putting a matchmaking system into the game. Some sort of system where people can join with 6 players and search for a match, or even something like the gather system in-game. I feel that a large portion of the community would enjoy the system and benefit from it. I also feel that it could help attract more people to the game, as it is currently hard to enter the competitive scene.

Would love to hear your opinions about this subject.

I think there will be a lot of support for this (from the competitive side at least), but this is certainly not the first time it has been suggessted.

I would anticipate someone creating a mod which provides that functionality rather than the devs adding this feature as I doubt its anywhere near the top of their priority list.

Edit: Had a quick search of the mod forum and couldn't find anything related

I also think this will more likely be the case, if anything is added at all. Does anyone happen to know the average price to get someone to code such a feature? I'm sure many members in the community would be willing to help fund it.
