still can't use with Dvorak

Guess it's time to uninstall again. I'll check back in a few months.

Seriously guys? I can't rebind all the keys - commander keys can't be changed at all - and I can't use Windows keyboard switcher in NS2 since NS2 consistently causes it to close. Can you please put some time into this? I'd like to be able to actually play this game I've paid for.

I agree that comm key bindings should be configurable, but I have played with other Dvorak users who get around it somehow. Hopefully someone will chime in wit some tips :)

Would love comm key rebinding option.

Wouldn't mind a commander taunt either.

Wait...you use a dvorak keyboard? Wow....always wanted to use one but figured relearning touch typing was just too much work.

Did you use qwerty prior? How was the change over? Why did you start using dvorak?

Sorry for questions but its rare to see the more ergonomic and efficient keyboard layout..even though we no longer have to worry about the typewriter arms getting tangled.

Two to three weeks and you should be able to type faster on dvorak than you can currently type on qwerty.
It feels more ergonomic, but it's a hassle to have different layouts on different computers (work, home, school, what have you).

I got up to speed with dvorak, then switched back. Issues like this topic is about is also a reason to not use dvorak.

To summarize, it's ergonomically nice but a hassle over all.

I believe the devs have said that the major content patch (slated for early-mid February) will allow key rebinding and mapping of multiple keys. Only time will tell if this fully addresses your problems.
