using the HL ingame browser (urgh) Just click on Add new server, enter the IP. Filter for only favourites, and it should be there.

Otherwise you could use Gamespy 3D, All seeing eye or other such game browsers.

or even better, go into Internet explorer and in the address bar type:

    Halflife: xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx

Where xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx is the IP address.

Even I didnt know about that last one, thanks guys. That will allow me to join servers on other computers easily and quickly.

But I will still use Gamespy 3D, its not the fastest or the prettiest, but im used to it, its like an old shoe. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

actually, fam, it's more like a sexually transmitted disease, but it's your choice.

Actually, halflife:ipaddress will only work if you have Half-Life Protocol installed on your computer.  And that doesn't come with the standard HL install.  It came with the NSTR2, so I don't know where to find it separately.

I can post a link to HLP when I get home, it works out great. 3.0 is a blast, it continuously pings full servers until there is a slot open, takes the slot, then starts up your HL and connects to the server. Very good for packed games of CS. HLP 2.0 I believe is the SuperIP version. I believe it lets you click the links in Gametiger.com to connect, but I could be wrong.
