Nothing else has changed in my PC except for the build number in ns 2.
Its especially noticeable when your dead and spectating, but it also happens during normal gameplay in certain locations.
Sound will either crackle for a split second, or dissapear completely for a second. it doesn't happen often, but it has never happened in the previous 120 hours i've played.

No footsteps usually. Seems to fix itself as the game progresses.
