Cyst line of sight + infestation woes.
I'm building a siege map (ns2_hivesiege on the workshop). So I have a great big hive room (all 3 hives are in it) separated from a siege room by a very large window. Marines can safely ARC the hives from behind this window once a certain time limit expires.

Anyway, I'm having two problems with it:

1. The Alien commander can cyst chain through that window like it isn't even there. This only just started happening. I am 95% sure it was impossible in previous builds of the same map. But now it is definitely possible. I can't explain why because I don't have a clue why it is now possible.

2. Infestation completely covers the window, obscuring the view of the hives. This practically defeats the purpose of having the window at all. As an alien, you are supposed to be able to see the ARCs when they roll in to steamroll you, and as a marine, you are supposed to see these 3 hives on the other end of the glass. But instead all you get is a wall of infestation created by the hives.

So does anyone know a foolproof way to prevent infestation from growing on certain surfaces?

How about a foolproof method to block cyst line of sight?

I've tried wrapping the area in occlusion geometry. I've run dozens of collision geometry walls between these locations. And yet you can still cyst through all of this into the siege room, essentially breaking the game.
