Computer randomly turning off when I play

At first I did not have this problem but then it became a huge nuisance, but whenever I try to play NS2 my computer would turn off at maybe 5 minutes in, I do not have this problem with any other game just NS2, I would very much like to hear any suggestion because it is starting so worry me. Thanks.

    Sounds like your CPU might be overheating and shutting down to prevent damage. Have you checked your temps?

    I agree with this assumption. Also like to know what your specs are. If your fps are above 60 i'd recommend limiting them via vsync or using maxfps 60 in console to prevent your system from rendering unnecessary frames.
