Fault in player name

<div class="IPBDescription">Alt Codes in player name gone wrong</div>Hi guys & gals,

I used some "alt codes" when adjusting my player name in the game Options menu. Ever since I have had a string of one symbol repeating itself before my name. A back to front "7" displaced so that the top starts where the bottom begins. Incidentally, this symbol is not an Alt Code I entered. I've tried to change it back using the in game Options menu with no "Alt codes", as well as the console command to change the player name. Unfortunately they still persist. I'm wondering if I change my name in an INI file (xml is used in NS2 I think?), but I am unable to locate the file I need to change. Does anyone else know the name of the file and the line number, or perhaps is able to point me in the right direction?

Cheers,
þeâK

"%appdata%\natural selection 2\options.xml", look for the line like: "<nickname>Zaggy.nl</nickname>"
    (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Natural Selection 2\options.xml)
