Purple flashes make game unplayable

<div class="IPBDescription">A series of purple flashes appear on screen and flash very violently</div>Recently bought the game and a series of seizure inducing purple flashes appear on screen and flash very violently, essentially making the game unplayable. They appear all throughout the game, including the team selection room.

Ive played around with the graphics settings with no success.

i have an Intel i5-3570k with an AMD 7950. The FPS of the game itself is optimal, very smooth....its just the weird graphics bug thats preventing me from playing.

Any ideas?

If you could provide some sort of examples, screenshots or a video, would help your cause a lot.

A video would be helpful too. MSI Afterburner is a good free video capture program that you could use to try to get a video of this problem.

I had this happen to me when my videocard was overclocked. It's kind of like a purple strobe light and the game starts going frame by frame. The sound gets all messed up. I downclocked my videocard to stock and it fixed it.

Texture corruption and purple crap is a sign of overclocking the video memory too high, usually. Alternatively, your video card might be going bad. Try downclocking the video memory from whatever you have it at (with MSI Afterburner or similar)...
