Hello, I am new to the forums, but I figure this be the right place to ask about how it would be possible to gain access to my Black Elite marine gear. I had purchased the game back when it was alpha, but never registered to play the game. I then had never heard from you guys since and am looking to see if it would be possible to get what came with the deluxe edition.

Firstly, i'd like to mention that the deluxe edition (at least on steam) doesn't include the black elite armour AFAIK (but a different one). The deluxe armour (and the black elite armour if owned) should be selected through, Options -> General -> Armour type (second from bottom)

Yes, the black armor preorder/premium edition was only available back in early 2010. If you preordered on Steam, you will get the Deluxe green armor, but will not get the black armor.
If you ordered back in the limited pre-backer window, you should have received a second email once Steam integration had been completed, with the black armor DLC code.

Also please note that not ALL early-2010 preorders were for the premium edition ($40), there was a lower-tier ($20) version offered which only received the green armor, and the later upgrade to include the Deluxe green armor which applied to all preorders.

If you indeed did order the special edition, then you would have received TWO product keys. One product key with the NS2 product code, and the other with the DLC black armor product code. If you have misplaced it, you can try entering your email address you used to buy it on <a href="http://support.humblebundle.com/customer/portal/articles/243191-humble-bundle-key-resender" target="_blank">this form</a> to see if that will retrieve it for you.

If it does send you a key, but there is only one key, then you likely didn't order the black armor edition. (I have the black armor, and I tested that link and it did send me both keys). If you do get an email with both keys, open Steam and click on GAMES (at the very top left) and then click "Activate a product on Steam". Copy over your second product key. Now if you right-click on the Natural Selection entry in your library and then select properties, then click on the DLC tab, you should see "Natural Selection 2: Black Armor". (there is a place in game to switch between the different armors).

The Deluxe edition (Special Green NS1 visor Armour) is <b>not</b> the same as the now no longer available Special Edition (Black Spec-ops Armour)
