PC-full Freeze

The Error is: the game just freeze complete the PC. I just can see the last picture of the game (without Errors).
Strg+Alt+Del dont work (usually it would.) -> need of powerdown the Computer.
It was never on a game-loading screen or just the menu, but while looking a tutorial video or playing a game.
No warnings like lagging or something. Looks like someone pressed 'pause' for my computer.
Playing with Steam, Win7 (64bit) on AMD-8Core (3,1Ghz), 8 GB Ram, ATI Radeon HD 7700 (actual drivers.)
Already tried a few (fast) tips from this forum for 'standart'-errorfixing - but didnt help.
