Freezing Issue (Solved)

This is just for anyone that might be having the same issue I was having.
I bought NS2 recently and everything seemed to install and load up fine. When I started playing, the game seemed to run with no issues. However, after playing for a little bit I switched to my welder and my game appeared to lock up for a few seconds or so (my ping also appeared as 999 during, or shortly after, this occurrence). After this occurred, I started having this issue with other weapons as well, and the freezes would last anywhere from 1 to 10 seconds (the freezes also started happening regularly after the first instance). I could open my task manager, and my computer seemed to be running fine, but I was getting no response from the game. Closing the game and reopening seemed to fix the issue for a little bit, but after an arbitrary amount of time (in-game) I would freeze up again (sometimes it was switching weapons, other times it was just completely random). I checked my game log and saw that I was having issues loading files and my shaders appeared to be corrupted. I tried everything from deleting my game cache to revalidating my game in steam (I also did those two steps together several times). My game would always start up and run fine, but I would run into the same freezing issue when playing. At this point I was ready to try reinstalling the game, but I decided to delete the entire Natural Selection 2 folder inside %APPDATA% and then revalidate my game in Steam. Voila! Success! After removing the entire folder and revalidating my game in Steam I have had no issues whatsoever. I hope by writing this I help someone else experiencing similar issues.
For the TL;DRers:
-I was having freezing issues, seemingly at random. Game ran fine otherwise.
-My game log said I was having trouble opening files (especially those related to shaders).
-Deleting the game cache and revalidating the game only fixed the freezing issue temporarilty (I would freeze again at some point in my next play session).
-Removing the entire Natural Selection 2 folder under %APPDATA% (copy paste that into your folder to go to that destination) and revalidating my game in Steam fixed my freezing issues.
*Edit*
Could a mod move this to technical support? Sorry :S
