Explore Mode Question

Hi, a few of my friends and I are new to this game and were wondering if there was a way to switch explore mode off of lan to be able to test things out with each other before we ruin the game for others. Is this possible to do via a listen server in game?

    Just go to the "Play" section in the menu and use the start server button at the top ;)
