Game isn't rendered correctly

So, when I load up the game, I do get a menu with options. Since I just got the game, I want to do the training. I went to Explore Mode and started a server. When I am finally loaded up, nothing except for the map's skybox and a few other sprites are loaded. When I pick a team (in my screenshot, I join Aliens), I continue not being able to see much of anything.

I've deleted my shaders, verified my cache, deleted my %APPDATA%\roaming\Natural Select 2 directory contents, installed the DirectX package included in the Steam redist directory, and messed around with my settings (the screenshots were taken at the game's default settings).

    There is a known complication with graphics drivers overriding AA / anisotropic filtering. Reconfigure your graphics driver in the control panel interface of your driver and makes sure AA / anisotropic filtering is not set to forced.
