    I think there is no real reason why they can't drop it, just that it hasn't been implemented yet.

    Although i think the marines have already more than enough things to spend their TRes on: ARCs, JPs, Weapons,

    AFAIK it's a bug, Charlie once said it's coming. It's an annoying bug though, that's for sure.

    One of the main factors in me never rushing dual minigun exos is that I know my marines won't have the resources to buy them.

    To me it makes sense that the marines can't drop dual exos because they are so easily available that the barrier to entry must be personal resource cost. Think about it, what is stopping the marine commander from giving his team dual exos? The tech point requirement? Please.

    On the other hand, the Onos can only be dropped with three hives. That is a massive hurdle to overcome, and it seldom is in games that aren't already won.

    upgrading from single to dual minigun should then be available in your case imba.

    Anyway this upgrade should be available.
