Game mode idea: Hurdle race for movement mechanics practice

Hi,

I've had an idea for a game mode that would allow players to practice and compare movement mechanics and other skills. It could be a timed obstacle or hurdle course that kills and respawns you in the ready room if you fall outside of the race or hit deadly barriers. NS2 has quite intricate controls, especially for aliens, and I personally find it somewhat hard to evaluate my own and others skills at skulk parkour, fade shadow-step jumps etc. There could be obstacle courses specifically for skulks, lerks, fades and marines that would require precisely aiming and timing wall-jumps, swiping attacks etc., and at the end the course should give a time score to allow people to compare their skills to others. The players would enter the obstacle courses from the Ready Room and the game mode should spawn them as the appropriate lifeform automatically. I've made some illustrations for the possible hurdle types for lerks, fades and skulks:

Sorry for the crude quality, I made the drawings in a hurry. An important point is that falling of the platforms should put you back at the beginning of the obstacle course or in the ready room, but there shouldn't be a significant time penalty so the course could be reentered right away. It would also be nice to allow multiple people to participate in a course simultaneously.

I currently don't have the capacity to make a game mode by myself, but I'd be interested in helping with design etc. if someone else would take up implementing this idea. This idea should be a fun way to both compete with others and to practice handling the movement and attack mechanics of the game better. It should be an important goal for the NS2 community to facilitate learning the game better so we could have more quality matches with people who know what they're doing. If no one would want to implement this idea I'd eventually try to do it myself, so it would be very helpful to at least hear ideas for designing hurdles/obstacles that require using different lifeform abilities.

Edit: One more idea for an obstacle is steps requiring the marines to use the jump and crouch combo. There could also be something requiring gorges to drift with their belly slide and so on.
