Cannot find listen servers in the server browser

My friend and I wanted to try out Explorer mode and also an actual game. In both cases one of us started a listen server and could not find the game in the server browser. We could join only by clicking "Join Game" through Steam. Is this a bug or do dedicated server only show in the browser?

    I'm not 100% sure how listen servers compare to dedicated ones, but I think there's a flag in one of the config files, where you can tell it to broadcast. I don't think this is included in the menu interface.

    Basically, NS2 is currently not configured to support listen servers by default. It can work, but you'll have to tinker a bit.
