Bug? Lost celerity, couldnt get carapace?

Last night I couldn't evolve carapace for my fade. It was preventing me from evolving. I went to many places around the hive and asked others if they had the same issue, none did. Once our celerity was rebuilt after it was ninja killed by a marine, was I able to evolve carapace. At the time this occured I was a fade with celerity. The celerity might have gone down when I was evolving to a fade, but I had it when I was finished.

    Problem is that the game registers a fade with celerity trying to evolve carapace as a fade trying to re-evolve celerity and evolve carapace. Hence you cant evolve any new upgrades if one you currently are using no longer exists.
    Whether this is intended or not I don't know.

    I am surprised abilities aren't removed when the structures go down.

    They used to be. I don't recall the reason for the change.

    Since this reminds me of it, don't grab upgrades after a losing hive; you'll lose your related ability, despite not dying. I found out the hard way as I grabbed a recently reacquired carapace on my gorge after we lost our second hive... and suddenly I couldn't bile bomb anymore.

    Both bugs have already been reported.
