I agree, we're posting in a Server Discussion forum right now. Having discussion in the mailing list only makes it less useful for server operators trying to keep up with new info.

You will then receive an e-mail from Google that you need to reply to in order to confirm.

In regard to only receiving announcements, I will be posting the announcements from brianc@unknownworlds.com and the subject will include [NS2] and I am using [RELEASE] when a new patch it released. So you can filter based on these tags.

We do want to use this list as a way to get feedback from the server operators but we don't want discussion about gameplay balance, maps, etc.

Yes, it's active. Obraix sends an e-mail and makes a post on the forum when something is happening.
