<!--sizeo:2--><span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Single exos just seem pointless to me - rarely seen because most wait for duals and no longer seem viable when duals and all the other late-stage marine stuff is available. Compare it to aliens - Fades very much retain there viability.
My suggestion is to change single exos to give it a slightly different playstyle - either my making them more mobile with jetpacks (giving a halfway point between jetpack marines and duals) or change the weapon to grenade launcher - making them still usable late into the game but not ridiculous considering how they would be shut down by whips.<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

I like this idea. The single exo ought to have <i>some</i> value in it.
It seemed so intuitive and obvious to me that the first time I got a single gun exo I was trying to build things with it and baffled that I could not.
To me the obvious use of the hand would be to let the damn thing use it as a hand...as much fun as punching aliens is, it’s nothing but a silly gimmick if that’s all the hand does.
