Not personally. Try to aim for the base.

I noticed that too: Shift seems unkillable while growing....doesn't matter if i'm using axe or lmg.

Had this happen to me on a round on Docking last night. Whether I was sitting next to it or sitting on top of it slicing straight down, a Shift in Departures hive wouldn't take damage until it was done growing. Hive took axe damage just fine, and shift took axe damage as soon as it was done.

Also killing growing harvesters is a bit off, the health reaches zero but still requires about 5-10 whacks before it "actually" dies.

This, I have noticed a few times. It's not every time, but it does make fast attacks difficult some times. Those extra 5 strikes can easily be the difference between success and death.

Try backing off from a growing shift, they seen to push you away as you axe them, move back a bit and aim at the base, once it starts to show.

I've noticed this with fully built sentries. It looks like it should be dead, as the bars are depleted, but I don't get score, so I bite a few more times, and then it finally dies. Seems pretty common, but doesn't always happen. Do marine structures benefit from armour upgrades? If they do, maybe the health bars aren't getting updated properly when a higher level is researched.

Would be nice if the collision model matched the actual model (hitreg model) for growing alien buildings.

I'm pretty sure this is the problem with growing shifts/rego and you can see it more obviously with growing whips from the top.

I noticed it a while ago, but I guess I forgot to report it once I was done playing

Yep I've noticed this as well. It's not the natural health regen from building since the HP goes down at a steady pace until the bar is empty, then it takes a few more swings to kill it.

It's because the harvester is still growing and gaining health. While the bar looks depleated, the health is still going up and it will take a few extra swings. I found that just shooting the harvester as it is on its last bit of health will out damage the health gain.

I've found the opposite; sometimes I have to empty almost an entire magazine into a harvester with 0 HP for it to finally die. Axe or Rifle, however you're killing it, those things can get stuck.
