Map variety: base spawn completely random

<div class="IPBDescription">Just4Fun server mode for random base locations</div>Sometimes I get bored by having the bases (especially rines) spawn in the same place each time.
I'm not even sure now if the spawn location is really 100% random in any map, or if that is distant memories of NS1 comping through.
But I would really like to spawn somethere else on some maps now and then. Why not east-vs-west on refinery for once? West-vs-east in veil?
I do realize this may lead to unbalanced gameplay on some maps, so this should be a for-fun server mode, for casual public games, not tournaments or esports. It would add a great deal of variety without a great deal of work (aka creating new maps)

    The maps you mentioned already have issues with balance with the marines being on a single spawn point, adding random spawns to those will only increase those issues... FYI: NS only had alien random spawns with a fixed marine start, but the new dependency on cyst chains makes them harder to play on the NS1 map Veil.

    The only map that is "acceptable" with completely random spawns is Summit and even that one has issues with close random spawns in which the Flight and Data locations simply have an advantage with connectivity to the center of the map.

    Not to mention that alien starts vs marine starts both need a completely different design, so a completely random spawn system is bad and/or hard to balance in any case even on Summit...
