Server Browser is amazing

...at sucking. I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to get into one of my favourite servers and it has been frustrating.

Allow us to stop updating the server list.

Create a favourites tab so that we can have all of our favourite servers in one place rather than need to refresh the entire list of available servers.

When you click on a server and it updates, if the values change please don't move the server. This feature is especially annoying when you have filters on, for example, setting the maximum ping slider to 100, say. If you click on a server and at that moment it happens to exceed 100 for whatever reason, it is removed from the list. The filters should apply only when the initial server search is underway or when adjusted.

Make queuing worthwhile. At the moment you're better off just constantly refreshing.

Allow us to use our keyboards to navigate through the servers: arrow keys to move up and down, and "enter" to join.

Please fix it.

If you have specific servers you want to join you can use the steam server browser:

Also, one of my biggest annoyances with the browser is that I only get about 3 updates before it wont show any more servers.

Update-> Servers with good ping all full -> Update-> Servers with good ping all full -> Update-> Empty list -> Update-> Empty list

Then you have to restart the client which is annoying because it has to do the steam cloud sync and alerts all your steam friends that you're playing again...

Is this a memory management thing? Weird bug....

Also I agree that the favorites feature is useless without a favorites tab in which you can show and refresh just your favorites.
Favorites star on the left, ping and player counts on the right-> you're not going to be caring about that pale gray little star.

UWE, you make such nice things! Don't lose players to those big-little things like game browsers! Take the game Super Monday Night Combat for instance. SMNC was a great, richly detailed and fun game. Worst matchmaking imaginable. Fun as hell to play and had content out the #$@, but you were waiting 10 minutes to find a game (on a good day) and the UI made no sense. And guess what? SMNC is now dead.
