Edit: Also, once marines do get a phase gate up they enjoy mobility around the map that the aliens will never match and once they get shotguns they become much stronger then skulks and aliens have to wait for higher lifeforms before they will be able to match marines again.

This happens again with the fielding of Exo's, only now there isn't much defense versus Exo's outside of suicide skulks that result in a fast egg lock or a Gorge that is situationally able to stop a crappy Exo group with denial tactics that don't work if the Exo's push their out-of-LOS firing nest. A P.res Onos is still possible, but one Onos versus two Exo's is usually going to favor the Exo over the Onos, again depending on location.

That being said, a decent Bile Bomb gorge nest is very difficult to push unless you have two Exo and at least two welders. As it should be. However, it's effectiveness really depends on the map and is sometimes impossible in large, open Hives.

Pressuring the second hive before it goes up, for example, is something that never even crosses the mind of most pubbers. Because they don't pressure the aliens, the aliens are free to harass as they please, getting marines stuck in an endless loop of running around putting out fires while aliens dominate the rest of the map.

I suggested displaying a timer more prominently here: http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/in...howtopic=125015

Apart from that, the commander telling them to stop camping, and maybe loading screen tips, there's not much that can be done.

I guess you can add a "start pushing, you noob" notice if a marine is stationary and not building for more than 5 seconds xD .

But seriously, to learn how to play the game can only be gained from experience playing the game...

P.S. There's already a huge thread about these issues here: http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/in...howtopic=125036
