just wanted to mention, most of scrajms recordings are 4 or more builds ago. Take that into consideration.

I don't have any videos, but I'll give you my two cents.

Competitive games are always 6v6. This is very, VERY different from pubs.

The absolutely most standard opening is:
Res -> Res -> Crag Hive
Jump out of the chair, go gorge, gorge up your hive RT
-> Carapace -> Hive -> Leap/Shift -> Celerity/Blink -> Fade eggs

Anywhere after Carapace you can get RTs. Bile bomb when needed. Spores is not common.

This is very, very, very different from pub strats.

Best pub strat is:
Res -> Res -> Res -> Res -> Res (Marines don't know how to put pressure in low level)
-> Hive -> [Crag / Shade hive] -> Carapace|Camo/Leap/Spores/Bile Bomb/Blink -> [Shift/Crag] -> The other upgrades
3rd hive -> Stomp -> Umbra. Don't bother with Xeno and Vortex, they're garbage.

Either go Crag->Shift->Shade or Shade->Crag->Shift. Never any other order.
